SWEDEN AND DENMARK XIII NAME SQUADS FOR NORDIC OPENER

Sweden and Denmark XIII have named their squads for the opening Nordic Cup match on Saturday. RLEF Scandinavia Manager Warren Heilig will observe the clash and expressed his optimism at the growth of the game in Europe’s northern reaches.
"I am so pleased that rugby league is really starting to take hold in Scandinavia and the extended 2011 Nordic Cup is proof of that,” he said. “I would like to show my appreciation to Sweden RL and Danmark RL for their dedication to making sport possible in their nations."
The 18-man Danmark RL party arrives in Sweden on Friday ahead of the game in Gothenberg. In the 2010 Nordic Cup. Sweden pulled off a shock 20-20 draw with Norway (pictured above).
