GERMANS RAMPANT TO DOWN CZECH'S

Germany secured second place in the 2010 European Shield West with an 18-try romp over a lacklustre Czech Republic in Hochspeyer, outside Kaiserslautern in the west of Germany.

The CZRLA have announced a change in the position of national team coach, effective immediately. Milan Mrtynek has resigned from the on-field role although he will remain in the position of General Secretary of the governing body.

SERBIANS OPEN EUROPEAN SHIELD WITH RESOUNDING WIN‏

It was the Dalibor Vukanović show in Prague as the Serbian scrum half masterminded a resounding win over Czech Republic, thanks to a second half super show.

Our ultimate objective is to establish Rugby League as an independent and vibrant amateur sport throughout the Czech Republic, with a clear development pathway from junior and schools level through to representative games and national honours.

There is an ongoing process to establish new, self-managed Rugby League clubs in towns and cities with both personnel and resources to maintain such ventures to develop into a full domestic competition with senior and junior representation at each club. Commitment and performance in this domestic competition will form the foundation of representative and national team selection.
