The Scotland Rugby League is the governing body for rugby league in Scotland. It administers the Scotland national rugby league teams from under 16’s level through to the professional team, jointly with the Rugby Football League, as well as running the domestic competition which is part of the Rugby League Summer Conference. The governing body has overseen the development of rugby league from being played by a precious few in the 1980’s to a flourishing amount of development, not just in the schools of Glasgow but in the Universities of Edinburgh at Napier University as well are fine examples of the development which has occurred in recent years under the auspices of the SRL board.
