Wales reasserted their dominance in the Amateur Four Nations as the Dragonhearts won all three games to claim the Grand Slam and an eighth title in 10 years.

A crushing win over Ireland set them on the right track before they got the better of defending champions Scotland and then edged England in a thrilling battle to clinch their title.

Scotland never got out of the blocks as defending champions, but managed to take second place in a three-way tussle with England and Ireland.
